About Us
The organization has grown from a sole proprietor in 1996 to a well established private company with several skilled professionals on board. It wasn’t necessary easy, growing a personal dream into a self sustaining viable entity, adhering to legislation, understanding the market place, finding the right key players and meeting customer requirements and demands. As founding member, Japie formed Automation Solutions with the dream and desire to be successful, by doing business on Christian values and Biblical principles, as foundation to his enterprise. As with all growing businesses, a few discretional decisions made in error, let to deep founded realities, where the initial company almost came to a halt at the end of 2003. Only personal convictions, the dream to succeed, support from a hand full of people and most importantly, faith in the only God that cannot fail, laid the foundations of the new AS Automation Solutions. We learned from this humbling experience some lifelong applicable truths. Reality checks showed that in some instances we made basic fundamental mistakes. As a learning organization, we gathered strength and tried again with the following guidelines as references:
Do we make mistakes? – “Yes of course, with the difference that we will always strive to correct if we are made aware and not try to find the boundaries where we can get away with the bare minimum in all aspects of life. This forms the guidelines of improvement on our service and quality.” The restructured company after 2003, had the vision of becoming a formidable force in the one stop turnkey project environment. This resulted in a team that is equipped, dedicated and focused on its niche markets within the industry. Our primary focal point is small to medium size turnkey projects. We are committed to empowering our people at all levels of the organisation and allowing them to deliver their full potential. Conforming to government policies of reformation, we are registered as a BEE compliant company actively involved in the uplifting of communities and lifelong partners with Judea Harvest.

We will continue to grow as a learning organization as long as we maintain our current attitude. “We are always teachable and will do almost anything to ensure that we maintain happy and healthy relationships with our clients.” Having said that, we are always on the look-out to see how we can combine best fit and best practice models, this in itself help us to remain flexible when we deal with complex issues.
