Flock Plants for both the Goldfields Expansion projects Twinshaft and Backfill

Strengthening our core business we were fortunately enough to deliver the two Flock Plants for both the Goldfields Expansion projects Twinshaft and Backfill. The Backfill plant opted for our Econo Series, Model 4 and the Twinshaft section made use of our highly efficient Flock Hydrator system. Both plants are due for commissioning early 2012.

First of a kind

The commissioning team, lead by Technical Manager Rudi Maartens is currently making history by commissioning a worldwide first of a kind, De-Gridding Plant at 120 Level at the Moab Khotsong mine in Orkney. The system is capable of handling 1650 M3 of mine water per hour removing all particles larger than 50 micron, relieving settler loading and protecting clean water pumps. Full production is scheduled for November 2011.

UREA Preparation System

AS Automation were in the fortunate position to receive the order from UHDE for the UREA Preparation System as part of the new Sasol Secunda Water Purification Plant. This requires a 65 M3 Stainless silo and other make-up equipment. Delivery is scheduled for April 2012.
