What do you guys do? - Most interesting question asked over the past 10 years. As company owner and director, I would like to answer this from a personal prospective with the necessary background, motivation and clarification.
AS Automation Solutions (Pty) Ltd finds itself in a unique position in the market place. With well equipped workshops and skilled personnel we are well established as an Original Equipment Manufacturer or OEM in specific sectors of the market. Most of our OEM equipment is in-house designed, drawn and engineered. Applying the latest technology from the automation industry to our OEM products, allowed us the opportunity to keep in touch with the latest developments in the automation world. Through formal training and experience we have evolved to a recognisable role player in the Industrial Automation Sector itself. As OEM’s we are often contractually forced to offer a field installation and commissioning function and even a maintenance service. Offering these services has led to the deployment of a strong installation crew. Combining and orchestrating the above abilities, functionality and skills, putting it together as a bundled package, we are in a favourable position to offer a turnkey solution in the small to medium Greenfield project sector of the market. Although not a mighty workforce in numbers, we have certified pipefitters, coded welders, master electricians and automation specialist in our ranks. Almost all personnel are truly multi disciplined, empowering us against many of the larger, less flexible role-players in industry.
As an Original Equipment Manufacturer it is our aim to become a leading name in Africa by applying fresh ideas and the latest technology. The in-house ability to design, manufacture, assemble and integrate high quality, innovative products covering specialised fields of water management and treatment, chemical preparation and process optimization in diverse market segments will enable us to reach our goals and objectives.
